STOWELL, JOHN
John began his highly successful career with music lessons in his native Connecticut from guitarist Linc Chamberlind, and from pianist John Mehegan, the respected jazz educator at the Julliard School of Music, and Yale University. John currently resides in Portland, Oregon and maintains a very busy touring and teaching schedule around the world.

John Stowell has performed and recorded with such artists as David Friesen, Paul Horn, Milt Jackson, Art Farmer, Herb Ellis, Bill Watrous, Richie Cole, Ralph Towner, Billy Higgins, Billy Hart, Conte Condoli, and many others. His festival credits include Newport, Monterey, and Telluride in the USA, in addition to several in Europe and Canada.
